That is all I know of them, their first child William was baptised in the Orange Street Independent Chapel in Portsea 1812 and a second son John in 1816. The family then moved to London and I have been unable to find a marriage for this couple or a birth for William Mackie. Would be most grateful for any help or information. Marriages could not be conducted in Nonconformist chapels between 1754 and 1837. They would have had to marry in an Anglican church.
