Hi Ann and Terry Do you have anything on William Harris who was a blacksmith in the village of Hursley in the first quarter of the nineteenth century? His wife was Sarah and I have a record of three children. I have to admit that I have not been watching this thread and have just picked up on Derek's message. Let me know; regards John ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ann & Terry Spiro" <explorer@smartchat.net.au> To: <ENG-HAMPSHIRE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, September 27, 2005 4:19 AM Subject: Re: [ENG-HANTS] blacksmiths > Hi Derek > > He certainly is of interest,I'll put him on the Hampshire list today. > > Cheers > > Ann > ******************************************************************************** > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "derek lambert" <dereks@rokerman.ndo.co.uk> > To: <ENG-HAMPSHIRE-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Tuesday, September 27, 2005 1:24 AM > Subject: [ENG-HANTS] blacksmiths > > >> Hello Ann & Terry, >> re: your blacksmith list, I have a Richard LAMBERT, born Beacon Hill >> Marchwood, July 7 1824, In 1851 he was a working blacksmith in Marchwood >> Parish, and by 1861 had risen to be a Smith & Horseshoe maker >> in Chichester Square, St Marys Southampton. >> Hope this is of interest, >> regards, Derek. >> >> >> ============================== >> Jumpstart your genealogy with OneWorldTree.
