The index entry is as follows: 1851 Census Index - Bursledon - in Volume 14 of the index HO 107/1670 folio 95 Waller Thomas 73 - born Hamble Waller Sarah 69 - born Southampton A typed and indexed transcript of the Hamble (or Hamble le Rice) parish register up to about 1837 is available at Southampton City Archives, Hampshire Record Office, the Society of Genealogists, and the HGS Searchroom. The parish registers of Bursledon, Hamble and Hound intermix, and all should be consulted. The above record offices etc also hold transcripts of all the Southampton parish registers up to 1837. You may find a volunteer to do a look-up. The LDS has filmed these transcripts. Hampshire Record Office will sell you a print of the census page, but there is a minimum charge. Heres what I have "there is an entry in the 1851 Census index (14 Burledon) Waller Thomas 73 Hamble Sarah 69 Southampton I also looked up Barsledon in the IGI Batch Numbers and it's listed under "there are no batch numbers for the following parishes". If you have access to the 1851 census I would appreciate very much any help you could give me. I tried the two sources Judith suggested for copies of the 1851 census but they are months away from them having them available and I don't know whether they will have them in a format that are playable on our 110 we have in Canada.
