Does anyone know if there is a way of searching for just recent additions? The IGI was last updated in 2002 and before that in 2000. There appear to be no plans for an upgrade in the near future. Hate to disagree with you Linda and Tony, but I think you might be thinking of the IGI on CD. I understood that the online version would be updated regularly, from their web-site: "# Regular updates. The index will be updated as new information is received. Note: There are no current plans to update the International Genealogical Index on compact disc." I have noticed the odd new entry when I have ploughed through and compared information. I was just wondering if there was an easier way of doing this.
