Just pondering, as is my wont... This seems a late baptism, when the lad was about 7 years old. The actual register entry might give his age. I'm wondering how the date of birth is known so exactly, if not from a birth certificate? Army records perhaps? If it was from a birth certificate, this would show the parents including mother's maiden name, so the baptism would only be out of interest, not for vital information.
