Hello again. I am interested in the following family that appears in the 1901 census:- Alfred T Grayell abt 1899 Portsea, Hampshire, England Son Alverstoke Hampshire Elizabeth Grayell abt 1900 Gosport, Hampshire, England Daughter Alverstoke Hampshire Francis G Grayell abt 1896 Portsea, Hampshire, England Son Alverstoke Hampshire Frank Grayell abt 1872 Warmley, Gloucestershire, England Head Alverstoke Hampshire Mary R Grayell abt 1897 Portsea, Hampshire, England Daughter Alverstoke Hampshire Rosa Grayell abt 1875 Portsea, Hampshire, England Wife Alverstoke Hampshire I presume that the following from the 1891 census is the same person:- Grayell, Frank abt 1871 Cambran, Monmouthshire, Wales Walmer Kent Beside an Elizabeth in 1881 these are the only GRAYELLs in either census. I cannot find him in the 1881 census and wondered if anyone on the list has any connection to the family and could/would help me. I believe that Frank was in the services which may be why the birth detail varies. The reason for my interest is that my gggm Josephine GRAYLE (GRAYELL) gave birth in Malmesbury to a Francis George "JONES" in 1871 but there is no marriage or birth in FreeBMD. She died in 1884 when FG was 13. Now Warmley is not to be found in Rootsweb, Gloucester county places. Malmesbury is in both Wilts and Gloucs. Josephine's daughter Mary Ann SKINNER (nee GRAYLE/GRAYELL) was living in Cwmbran in the 70's. I think there are too many coincidences, any help please. Mike in a warm but wintry Whakatane NZ
