Thank you very much Sandra. May I ask if you have in Hursley marriage records a Wiiliam Bunce marriage to a Martha (late 1790s) and Martha's maiden name. I am trying to define who were my gt,gt,gt grandparents and there are two William Bunces. One married an Elizabeth (now it looks as if this could have been in Winchester) and one married a Martha. It could be that William (b about 1775) in Hursley is the one who married Martha, in Hursley. From my Hursley index, William Bunce married Martha COVER in 1796. I checked the BT's and the marriage took place 03 January 1796. There are a number of Bunce marriages in Hursley, but not a William until 1822 when a William Bunce marries an Elizabeth RUSSIN (11 apr), He was a bachelor and just by the by one of my relatives (Robert Misselbrook) was a witness!
