Hi Listers Looking for some info on the birth of ALBERT WILKINS. l know that he was born 1875 approx: cause he was married in 1895 age 20. He married LAURA BULL she was the same age, l have her birth as 1875 at Oxford where both of them seem to be from. Any help would be welcome. Ann-Leeds

Ann, After checking the 1891 census, Albert appears to have been born in Berkshire, New Hinkey (sic) circa 1875. There is a listing of the birth of Albert Edward Wilkins at Abingdon, Berks Mar Qtr 1875. The Abingdon district includes the areas of North and South Hinksey. I note that when Albert married (Sept Qtr 1895) he married as Albert Edward Wilkins, so it appears to be the same person.
