Hi Fay There is a VOKES buried at Itchen Abbas churchyard "The war memorial in the churchyard records the men of Itchen Abbas who gave their lives in the world wars. Some of them can be traced through the documentation. William Vokes, for example, died from fever in a Turkish prison.
