Thank you so much for this update - Longstock is one of 'my' villages and I was fortunate to visit in 2005. The village is a lovely example of its kind and appears beautifully kept. On the day I visited (walking over from Stockbridge) a group of volunteers were working in the churchyard, tidying etc. obviously very proud of their lovely church. I also walked through to Leckford, another family location, and admired the little church there along with more thatched houses, again beautifully kept. Hope to be back for another visit in September. A pleasure Patsy Sadly the churchyard is overgrown again but you can still walk through okay. The Telephone sign I photographed is right opposite the church just above what must be one of the UKs last red telephone kiosks!
