On 19 December 2006 Stanley Lane passed away aged 85. He was part of the Lane family that go back to the late 1700's in Wiltshire. He had close ties to the Stickland family who also go back to the late 1700's but from Dorset. He spent his later years at Tiptoe married to Renee Lane(Adams,Stickland) who passed away three years previously. On 5th March 2007 Ian Wooldridge passed away. Ian was a respected sports journalist who originated from New Milton. He was my cousin and although I didn't know him very well, he always had time for my Mother and never forgot her birthday. The Wooldridge family can be traced back to the late 1700's through Boldre and Lymington and have ties with the Gale family and of course the Stickland, Lane families. Ron Adams
