Hi, I am trying to find out if there is any monumental inscriptions or bdms for this area in the early/mid 1600's - I have some Mortimer's deaths but no further information. I have checked the IGI. A transcript of the Titchfield parish register 1590-1678 has been published in two volumes by the Titchfield History Society. See www.communigate.co.uk/hants/ths/page10.phtml You may be able to obtain copies through inter-library loan. Titchfield monumental inscriptions have been published on microfiche by the HGS.
