Hello all Could someone with access to Ancestry kindly help me out with a query? I've found an entry in the 1841 census for an individual in whom I'm interested but don't know what to make of the census image. The details are: Elizabeth Harmsworth, born in Hampshire about 1806 - census reference HO107/385/10, folio 1(?), page 1(?) The image shows Elizabeth as a female servant at Hackwood House, Cliddesden. However, the page has been crossed through. The next page, though, continues to list several other servants at Hackwood House. Do the struck through entries on the previous page mean they are invalid? If not, is it safe to accept the information contained therein? Regards Ed
And notice that the page numbers at the top have been changed manually. Lynda is correct, the previous page has been struck though. Cheers, Patsy - New Zealand.
