Hello In response to David's posting, I have Francis Payne (b abt 1740) who married Rebeccah Ireland (b abt 1761) in Fawley in 1781. Their known children were William (1782), Charlotte (1784), Peter (1786) & Stephen (1788), all born in Beaulieu. My line is from Charlotte who married Andrew Grunsell (b Alverstoke in 1783) in Beaulieu in 1805. Do we have a hit, or at least a near miss, amongst that lot? Regards Jim
