Hi Judy- I do not know if there is any connection but in 1897 there is a Sir William Pink who is an alderman to the borough of Portsmouth. Also a H.R. Pink is a councillor in the same year. The mayor George E Couzens was proposed by Sir William Pink. If you find this Pink is your pink, then I have some newspaper cuttings which give his name in asssociation with his duties to the mayor. - Caroline
