You do not state whether Anne and William's deaths took place before or after registration began. Thanks Jennifer, Charani and Jean, Between you, you have given me some confirmations as, in this list from Jennifer I see familiar names including the specific William d 1824. Now, I just need to find out if there is a map of the cemetery to show locations, if one has to get permission to search personally in the cemetery and if indeed there were headstones for any of these Hendys. As for the Lymington later nineteenth century Hendeys, I shall try to get to the local FHC in Laguna Niguel now I know they may have them since my contact directly to the church several months ago has not brought a reply from the volunteer archivist who I understand is swamped with requests. Yes, Jean, the project for the wedding present has taken on a life of it's own, helped much by you, Kathryn Jennifer, Tony et al. and cousins now are intrigued and want copies of what I eventually write up! All I need is TIME! It is interesting to see the widow Frances as I guess she married a Hendy from Milton and he moved to Boldre, thus starting our ancestors' connection to the village. Anyone know her maiden name? My system cannot use those small CDs unfortunately. Judy Boldre transcripts are hanging up in the church along with a map of locations if you can find anyone who can visit. Alternatively Hampshire Genealogical Society Publications do a fiche of them. http://www.hgs-online.org.uk/hgs_pub_mi.htm Kind Regards Steve Day -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Judy d'Albert Sent: 01 May 2007 17:06 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [ENG-HANTS] Do Lymington Parish Records Exist?
