I have Sarah James born ABT 1796 on 1851 Alverstoke census. Living 22 South street Lodging house keeper. She states born as Hants Sheet. Could someone tell me where that is. Also trying to find her husband as she is listed as widow 1851. She is aunt to my Alinda James who is also living there with her. Any info on this Sarah James would help to find more on my James family. Heather

Hi Heather - in 1841 there is a Sarah JAMES in South St, Gosport, Alverstoke aged 45 with husband Adam, a cutler. There are a number of other people in the household so may be a similar situation to the 1851 where Sarah is a lodging house keeper (also in South St).
