Hello, I am researching a John FIELD who we believe died between 1822 and 1841. He lived with his family in Old Basing and his wife continued to live there until her death in 1863. She is buried there. This is very likely where he too should be buried. But (of course!) there is a gap in the burial records for Old Basing from November 1823 thru November 1836. I am not sure whether the "gap" means that burials were stopped or whether the records for that time were damaged/lost. In the event that no burials occurred in Old Basing during that time, can anyone suggest in which parish an Old Basing family's loved ones might have been buried? Thank you! Shelley
