I am new to this list and am interested in the family, particularly any sisters, of Susan Garrett born circa 1780 who was the wife of John Martin, Painter. They married in 1810 at St. Mary's, Marylebone. Susan is reported in Balston's book 'John Martin' as being of Crandall, Hampshire and that a sister of hers married a Wilson of the Isle of Wight. In the 1851 census Susan aged 67 is living in Lindsay House, Chelsea. I would be grateful for any information on this sister and her immediate family and confirmation that the Garrett family is 'of Crondall'. Regards, M. Robson in Northumberland
