John Henry Randall is on the Findmypast passenger listings as an exact match to the information given. Using credits to download the page on which he appears you would find the name of the ship and exact dates and whether he was travelling with family. There are online indexes of assisted immigrants into NSW at www.records.nsw.gov.au (go to the online indexes link and select immigration and shipping) but these only cover up to 1900 so not helpful in this case but maybe to other listers. Should you find your person there are usually two reel numbers against the name, one for the passenger list and the other for the immigration record. The latter can be most helpful as it gives some background information on the individual. Copies can be ordered online or if you know someone who could visit the State Library of NSW the reels are available for copying at a miniscule price. I hope this helps someone.
