Go to the advanced search options and for Surname just put a comma (,) nothing else, no brackets. Then the first name/s plus other details you have....... Place of birth, date of birth +/- 1 or 2 years for the person you are looking for. Then a first name of another household member you expect to find with them. Further children born 1908 and 1912 also born in Vernham Dean. Trying to think of a transcription for the beautiful letter "K", and whatever might follow it! All suggestions welcome. As I said before, I've tried all currently available counties and various forenames. I guess I'll have to wait until greater search facilities are in operation, or failing that, the census is available to search page by page as on Ancestry.
