    1. [ENG-HANTS] Look up request - baptism in 1809

    3. Would anybody be willing to look something up for me? I'm trying to find out when my gt-gt-gt grandfather was born and who his parents were. His name was Daniel Quinn or Quin. According to his Naval records, his date of birth was 20th September 1809 in Portsea, Hampshire. I'm assuming that he was baptised but I don't know whether it would have been Church of England or Roman Catholic. I'm assuming that his father's name was Henry because that's the name of his eldest son, but I could be mistaken. I have no idea what his mother's name could have been, although a Catherine is mentioned briefly in his Naval record. I'd be grateful if anyone could shed some light on this. The records don't appear to have been added to the LDS. Many thanks Jo I use BullGuard Spamfilter to keep my inbox clean. It is completely free: www.bullguard.com/freespamfilter
