I have been unable to find much information online so far to help me search for my Lymington Hendy/ Hendey relatives who were originally from East End hamlet in Boldre parish, but by the mid 1800s were in Lymington. Are the parish records available on CD, or online that I could access from my iMac? Can anyone help by directing me to sources that have to be online as I am in the US. I am guessing they were still part of the parish church and not one of the dissenting chapels. Have he records been lost or is there still hope I shall be able to tap into them? Also can someone please confirm the dates on the actual tombstones for William and Anne Hendy (Hendey) and advise me where relatives can look to find them in the churchyard in Boldre, I presume.? 3. Some of you will know of Ann Barrett as a keen and active member of the Isle of Wight list and of her valuable work for family history. Her husband, Les, has been her helper and supporter for many years, without whom she would have been unable to do all the work she has done. During the last few weeks he has been very ill and his time has been divided between home and the Mountbatten Hospice. This morning he passed away. I am sure you will join with me in sympathy for Ann in her loss. If any of you wish to send cards of sympathy her home address is 17 Southfield Gardens, Haylands, RYDE, ISLE OF WIGHT, PO33 3EF Chris

    3. Hi, Is this the website to find out about persons buried in Bournemouth or should I be on the Dorset site. Thomas Martindale born Yapham cum Meltonby, Pocklington, East Yorkshire, 1847, died in Bournemouth in the March qtr of 1877. He was a Primitive Methodist Minister, married, with one son, called Thomas and a wife called Louisa. They lived at "Herrington Villa", Oxford Road, Bournemouth, just prior to the death of Thomas. I have tried to locate his burial in the Bournemouth town graves, but that did not start operating until 1878, so he must have been buried elsewhere. Any clues? John Readman
