    3. Petersfield library has microfiches of parish records for Petersfield, Buriton, Steep and Froxfield from the 1500s to date. I don't know whether they are complete, but there are a lot of them, and I'm happy to do a look-up if it's any help to other listers. Petersfield also has a small, but very helpful museum.     3. Hello Alan , I have a couple of traveller EYRES in my Dorset EYRES Project database if you are interested in them. I can also check out the Dorset History Centre transcripts for you if you have some definite parishes in mind. Contact me off-list if I can help. Unfortunately there isn't a county wide baptismal index, although the Somerset and Dorset Family History Society maintain a marriage index. The Dorset OPC scheme is excellent in quality and quantity of online transcriptions, although coverage of parishes varies in completeness. Best wishes, Robert
