    3. Hi Robert, Bury Cross was/is an area of Gosport, in fact it's the area where my mother-in-law lived. The houses known as Bury Cross back then are now known as Privett Road. That number seems way to high for Bury Cross back then. In fact, on a transcription I have of Bury Cross, just a door or two away from the house my family lived in are two Cresdee families as follows: 1861 census No 5 Bury Cross: George A. Cresdee head mar 35 bricklayer Alverstoke Jane Cresdee wife mar 40 - Alverstoke Louisa M. Cresdee dau single 13 scholar Alverstoke Noble C. Cresdee son single 7 scholar Alverstoke Robert J. Cresdee son single 3 scholar Alverstoke Amy R. Cresdee dau single 6mths - Alverstoke No. 6 Bury cross: David Cresdee head mar 64 bricklayer Alverstoke Hannah Cresdee wife mar 62 - Alverstoke Hope this helps, kind regards, Jon -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
