Checked this time but no christenings without an exact date as there are too many churches to check. A BMD birth in the Alverstoke District doesn't mean that the christening is in Alverstoke or Gosport. DOREY who I've found in the GRO as March Qtr 1914 with mother's name Berry - I was hoping a christening record would give parent's christian names so I could decide whether to get the cert. or not.
