My GG Grandfather worked in the dockyard between abound 1830 as a joiner, and 1881 when he was a Superintendant Inspector of Joiners. His name was James Edward Smith, born Portsea 13 July 1815. During this period, he still found time to get married and to produce 10 children. Is there any online source I can get access to so that I can check his employment records? Many thanks for the help -- Richard van Rooijen Can't we just take the warning labels off everything and let society's stupidity problem solve itself?
