Today I found the following on Ancestry.com MARRIAGE: BARNES JOHN W KAHLAHAR MARY E JUNE 1866 PORTSEA ISLAND HAMPSHIRE 2b 774 It was always assumed that KAHLAHAR was KEILER born abt 1846 QUEENSTOWN IRELAND so we have never found a marriage. I think this may be a break through. ANYWAY QUESTION apart from ordering Cert, what church, Reg office, parish reg are available to confirm MARY ELLEN'S Nationality Irish, THAT WOULD BE ANOTHER + Can not find MARY or JOHN on 1861-1871 census returns either as KAHLAHAR or BARNES First entry 1881 RG11/2535 109 p 15 Gloucester Have watched your list with interest and hope for some response.
