I have the evidence of the smallpox vacination on my left upper arm! 1937. My sister, 1930, had her vacination on the left upper thigh. I learn't that she was most upset at the time because her knicker elastic rubbed across the sore that developed. Because of this this had a very large scar that she talked about but was always hidden from view. I have most of the family paers from that time but there doesn't appear to be any documentation for vacinations. Perhaps the family doctor kept the records. Regards.
