Well Su said she saw some lightning this morning, but I have to be honest, I didn't see any???? Plenty of water up here, but thankfully not enough in this local area to have caused too much problem. It's been very pleasant up here since late morning, quite a nice afternoon with just the odd little spot or two of rain, but nothing worth mentioning. I'd better not say too much in case we get another helping of the thunderstorms? I had a letter from the local optician this morning, telling me that they note they haven't seen me in a number of years, and encouraged me to make an appointment so that I could enjoy a continued quality of vision????? I think they may be just a little too late??? By about 20 years?? Mind you, it may be worth a shot, it could help me see those ancestors that I can't seem to find anywhere!
