There are several school log books etc relating to Portsmouth schools at the Portsmouth Record Office. They are well indexed. I found school records for my grandfather, Charles Mills, who taught at St Lukes and my great uncle, Archibold Mills who was Headmaster of the Beneficial School in the early 20th century. Philip
