Hi Stacey, The father of Thomas was Richard GARDNER and apparently he was a carpenter according to the details at the time of the marriage of Thomas GARDNER to Mary Ann LEE on 11/2/1862 at St Mary's, Portsea. At the moment I am not aware of any Chichester connections.
