Is it possible that anyone on the list has Henry ABBINETT in their tree and can throw some light on why he was the man to give consent at the marriage of William WHILEY and Diana JANES at Alverstoke in 1819. He was obviously some kind of guardian to one of them and I'm wondering which and what relationship he had with them? Regards, Pat B
