    3. Hi Leonie Just by chance I was looking through my Kelly's Directories for Portsmouth and noticed an Alfred Moore Pritchatt (the only Prichatt in the book) living at 170 Clive Road Portsmouth in 1932, this would make him around 84 years old? My directories then jump to 1948, 1951, 1956, 1960, 1962, 1972, 1975 when I think these stopped and I can't find any Prichatt's in the Portsmouth listings? Hope this helps Paul Stacey Leonie Oliver <gloliver@bigpond.net.au> wrote: Hi all I am looking for any descendants of a seaman (RN), Alfred Moore PRITCHATT, born Birmingham in 1848, and his wife Jessie Bruce ANDREWS, who married in Portsea in 1877. They had 4 children, Amelia Bruce who married William J McCarthy in Portsmouth in 1915, Jessie Matilda who married in 1910 (husband unknown), Alice Mary and Alfred Joseph. Alfred Moore Pritchatt and his family were all living in Portsea in the 1901 census. He retired from the Royal Navy in 1886 and seems to have remained in the Portsea area for the rest of his life. I would love to make contact with living relatives or with anyone who is connected to this family in any way. Alfred Moore Pritchatt's brother Edmund immigrated to Australia in 1890. 3. Hi Paul Thanks for this. Our GRO records (at my local FHS) so far only go to 1921, so I'll stop looking for him! His younger brother Edmund died in 1908 so I had no idea Alfred Moore would be so long-lived. Many thanks.
