On his second marriage 12 June 1849 to Merci Bewsey he was listed as age 34 , shoemaker (3 men) Born Isle of Wight no address. The nearest I can come to him is Thomas HOLLIS born 1 Sep 1816 Cowes IOW to Thomas HOLLIS Occ Baker and Elizabeth Mrs DUNN. Also a daughter Elizabeth HOLLIS b 1812. At Thomas's marriage to Mercy Bewsey a withness was an Elizabeth HOLLIS.
