William ELLIOTT to Elizabeth EVANS 9 JUN 1788 at Saint Thomas, Portsmouth. I am interested in the names of witnesses and whether it might give any additional details. William ELLIOTT to Elizabeth NORTH 27 AUG 1793 at Saint Marys, Portsea. I wonder if this is the same William ELLIOTT as above and whether it could be a second marriage. There is also a further William ELLIOTT marriage which I am also interested in and which I think could be that of the son of one of the William's above. This is also on the IGI: William ELLIOTT to Elizabeth PAYNE on 17 APR 1816 at Saint Marys, Portsea. It is extremely frustrating that these William ELLIOTTs are all marrying Elizabeths.
