Hi Jon Have just found them on an old backup disc I had. They are in Gosport so that tells me they were there then, shame I was hoping to get some idea about their son John GALLIENNE b 1862 Guernsey. I presume that it is their son as he was living with Thomas and Ellen's daughter Ellen Mary at their Grandmothers house in the 1871 listed as grandson and granddaughter unless he was the son of another GALLIENNE. There is nothing after the 1871 about this John. Ellen Mary was and Idiot Epileptic and later after years in the alverstoke house in Industry admitted to Knowle Hospital where she died at the age of 18. Now when the Grandmother died in 1872 did they both go into the workhouse as their parents at this time had twins to support.
