Hi Edna. I searched through the death entries for Mile End Cemetery Portsmouth and found these Hellyers:- Thomas ref 11920 1851-56 Henry John 12282 1856+ Henrietta 12759 1856+ George 13533 1856+ Nancy 14247 1856+ Thomas 14409 1856+ WILLIAM J 14747 1856-1861 John 15718 1861+ William 16089 1861+ Emma 18047 1866+ Amelia J 18062 1866+ Henry 18620 1866+ Thomas W 18687 1866+ Edward P 19153 1866+ There are no dates of burial, just the name and reference number. I ran out of time, so couldn't check the film to dee if there were anymore details that could back up whether William J was your one. Is there anybody on the list with access to the burial records, if not I'll check when the Record Office reopens in January. Posh cars, expensive gifts, no, all I would wish for is a lead to my Robinson family. I can't get a break on the early ones at all. Benjamin Robinson married Sarah Furness 1806 in St.Thomas Portsea. Children. John 1809 Ann baptised 1817 Charles b 1818 Sarah Jane baptised 1821 Elizabeth Maria baptised 1825. I have marriages for John and Charles and children for Charles but the women are a brickwall.
