Please does anyone have the 1851 census for Portsea? I am looking for a William Gurney VINCENT. I think he was born around 1825. so would probably be about 25 years old in 1851. If he has married by then, his wife is called Ann. Many thanks for any help Wendy
Hi Wendy Have found a William Vincent in 1851 census . He is a servant and single born 1826 in Yarmouth Norfolk. He turns up in 1861 and 1871 census as a butler but he is married .His family is not with him. Is this your missing William. Incidently in 1851 another servant is a Ann mullins, single and I notice that Ann Vincent has a visitor called Mullens in 1871. perhaps Ann's maiden name is Mullins. Can send you more details if you wish Regards Geraldine -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Wendy Sent: 04 January 2007 14:06 To: [email protected] Subject: [PORTSMOUTH-GOSPORT] 1851 census Please does anyone have the 1851 census for Portsea?
