I've looked at a couple of these for myself, one from the '20s (my mother) and one from the '40s (me), but the same school. They were interesting in the background information & social history - many children sick with various illnesses etc - but not much in the way of identification of individual pupils. The ones I saw were short diary format and didn't contain register entries, for example.
