THE SMITH FAMILY AT 11 RUSSELL STREET AND 19 DURHAM STREET, GOSPORT Can you help? I've got two addresses in Gosport - 11 Russell Street and 19 Durham Street. John James Smith and Rosa Smith lived at 11 Russell Street from the 1890s until 1942. Two of their sons - Frederick John and Alfred lived there (there were other children too). Alfred left in 1933 to join the army. Frederick had moved to 19 Durham Street by 1942. I've got more information about the family but wonder if any relatives are still living in the area (who may be researching their family history). I think that John James, Frederick John and Alfred all worked as Labourers for Gosport Borough Council. Many thanks.
