Hello All.   I'm not trying to be greedy, so have just listed one family, asking for help but any Cains or Caines, I'll glady check out to look for matches.   James Richard Robinson born 1852 Portsea married Maria Ahern 1903 at Portsmouth Register Office. He was 51 yrs old and not to be conventional, had had six children with Maria and she had three of her own from her first marriage.   Her children Maria Ahern 1878-1906 who married John William Jerome. Harriett 1880 William 1882-1933 who married Sarah Bushnell.   Children of James and Maria. Amy 1886-1888 Minnie born Mar qtr 1890 Portsea. James born 1891/92 Portsea, possible marriage to Amy Avery. Edward 1892/93 Charles Albert born Dec qtr 1895 Portsea. Ellen born 1898/99.   This is a Portsea family and James was a seaman for many years and on the 1901 is a labourer in HM Dockyard. He was possibly a publican as well.   Any links or suggestions would be very much appreciated   Thank you
