Hi Mike, may thanks for your reply. I have never seen those names amongst our lot so I guess there is no connection. My G-Grandparents moved from Sheerness Kent and lived in Landport for some years. Thomas.F.R.Briggs and Ellen Ann nee Baskett (both born Sheerness). Their children were: Daisy Maria Briggs married Harry Hearl - moved to Swindon. Victoria May Briggs married Leonard Carver. May died aged 32yrs, in 1918 of the Influenza Epidemic. He remarried and lived in the area. Nellie Florence married Ernest.F Baker - lived in Kent. Frank Briggs - married Gladys Mills - lived in Kinglsey HANTS. I am in touch with his son (over 80yrs old now) and his grandchildren. Charles.E.F. Briggs - my grandfather, came to Australia in 1920. He was the only family member to come out here.
