Thanks Linda and Tony, I live along the coast, about an hour's drive (perhaps less) via the M27, from Portsmouth so it's not difficult at all. When I go to Portsmouth, I always park in Southsea and walk into Portsmouth but I shan't be able to make the journey for some many weeks ahead and, I admit, I was impatient to know what the memorial says!
