Hello Di, You should also consider Green Lane at Alverstoke. At the Bury Road end of which I believe there is a large detached house for a naval senior officer. It's hidden by the trees but might date from that period? I will see if my directories show this later. I will see if I can spot the house name as well unless anyone else knows it? Regards Peter
