This marriage took place at St Marys church Alverstoke (see IGI).The marriages for Alverstoke 1834-7 are not on fiche so sorry we cannot check out the details for this one. I would also like to know if Mary Jane MAY b. <1857> was chr. at St. Mary's Portsea like her brother William Henry, 5 Apr 1863, and sisters Grace, 12 Jun 1859 and Alice Ann, 31 Mar 1861. I only have her age from the 1881 census to go on, as I have not found her birth registration on FreeBMD (there is only a Mary Ann MAY in 1856 in Kingsclere) IF she was baptised at St Mary's Portsea then she should be on the IGI but without a date sorry a no go there as there were too many to just plough through.
