I am trying to trace my BEARD family. I know they arrived in Tamworth, Staffs before 1762 when a widow Anne Beard is mentioned in some court records. I am fairly certain Anne did not marry in Warwickshire, Staffs or SW Derbyshire so after a lot of work I keep spreading the net wider. One possible wedding I have identified is Thomas Beard to Anne Browing in Frocester 6/1/1776. Anne had a son Thomas born c1755 who married Dorothy Hadley 12/10/1778 in Tamworth Can anybody help me to eliminate this line or help me in my researches. Paul Beard
