I am researching my SIER family. Richard born circa 1800, died 1884. He is buried with his wife, Mary at Drybrook. A birth certificate of Margaret born 1845 shows his wife as Mary (formerly GREY). Unable to trace this marriage. Another researcher believes the wife was Mary (Martha) Trotter who married Richard Sier at Newland Church. Q.1. Where is Newland - in the Forest of Dean ? Q.2. Would the Drybrook church burial register possibly give Mary's maiden name? I'd love to know who is buried with Richard! Many thanks for any help which can be given. Les Shephard.
