What I think are my Davis's are on 1851 West Dean William Davis , 75, b. Kemple/Remple Mary, 63, b. Newent Sarah, 24, b. West Dean Caroline grand daughter, 7, b. West Dean This is from the online transcription I found on IGI that a Caroline Davis was baptised at St James, Bream in 1843, mother Sarah, no father given. I have not found Sarah's baptism. I think this Sarah Davis later marries Shadrach Jenkins and has further children before moving to SoT. I am now looking for more evidence. I have not suceeded yet in finding the above marriage - assumed to be after 1851 and before 1857 when son John is born.(I have his birth cert).
