Good morning, A member of The Monmouth list referred me here. I have discovered that some of my husband's Allenders could have been in the Forest of Dean area from the mid 1700s. All I have so far is some information from the IGI which will have to be verified when I can order the films at an LDS centre. There are ALLENDER (+ var) baptisms and marriages in Newland, Lydney and Alvington. The family later moved to Monmouthshire and Shropshire. I'd be grateful for any information on this family that anyone may have or to contact any one else researching the family. Gwynne
